  Yolanda Maldonado Alba

  Growing up, Dr. Yolanda Maldonado Alba watched her physician parents care for their patients “as if they were members of the family.” This inspired her to follow in their footsteps and pursue a career in healthcare. She explains that she “has a special interest in health promotion and prevention to improve the quality of life of her patients.” She particularly enjoys caring for the senior population, explaining that she wants to “continue focusing on transforming the health and lives of seniors by applying her knowledge, experience, and above all, empathy.” When she is not caring for patients, Dr. Maldonado Alba can be found enjoying time with her family and friends. She also enjoys restoring and repurposing antique items.

  Linu Samuel

  MD, MS, MBA

  Growing up around healthcare, Dr. Linu Samuel always knew he would pursue a career in medicine. “A career in healthcare allows me to make a difference in the world. I am able to make a positive impact while having a fulfilling and enjoyable career,” he explains. Lifelong learning and building relationships with patients are his favorite parts of his profession. “A physician is a life-long learner, I have the opportunity to learn something new everyday. As a physician I also have the opportunity to learn about my patients, allowing the physician-patient relationship to grow stronger. These opportunities to learn allow me to not only grow as a physician but as a person,” he says. He cares about his patients’ concerns and goals. “I’m invested in your health. I want to help you achieve your health goals so you can continue to do the things you enjoy,” he says. In his free time, Dr. Samuel can be found enjoying time with his family. He also loves gardening, traveling, and visiting local coffee shops.
