Dr. Ahern is an Anesthesiologist, fellowship trained in Multidisciplinary Pain Medicine, with TSAOG Orthopaedics (formerly The San Antonio Orthopaedic Group). He is board certified by The American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine and treats patients aged 16 years and older. As a pain management physician, Doctor Ahern has a special interest in restoration of functional capacity and quality of life improvement, and utilizes a multidisciplinary approach (to include spinal/peripheral nerve injections, neuromodulation, conservative medication management, rehabilitative techniques, and physical therapy) to help patients get back on track.
