He then continued to the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and earned a Doctorate of Dental Surgery. His professional memberships include American Dental Association (ADA), Texas Dental Association (TDA), and the San Antonio District Dental Society (SADDS).   • Shane G. Porter, DDS

    Dr. Shane Porter is a native San Antonian, born and raised, and a proud Spurs fan. He began his dental career in the summers, helping out with front office work, until he eventually transitioned to a dental assistant. As an undergraduate at The University of Texas at Austin, he majored in Kinesiology with a minor in Business Administration. Dr. Porter then received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, where he was recognized for his distinguished clinician skills. Dr. Porter is also a member of the San Antonio District Dental Society, Texas Dental Association, American Dental Association and an active volunteer in community service events. In his spare time he enjoys pickleball, yoga, live music, and exploring the outdoors with his mini Aussie, Ziggy.
