  Grandmaster Joe Giampietro

  Grandmaster Joe Giampietro is a 50 year veteran of the martial arts and has been a very successful competitor and demonstrator as well as one of the most respected Master Instructors in this country. His ability to relay complicated techniques to his students is a key factor in their ability to excel in local, national and international competitions. He has trained and taught in the USA and Asia. He is one of only a few US instructors to operate Martial Arts Schools in Okinawa, Japan. Grandmaster Joe is the Texas State Director for the United States National Taekwondo Federation.   Master Michael Giampietro

  Michael at the age of 15 was the youngest Internationally certified 4th Degree Black Belt in the United States. He has been training under his dad (Grand Master Joe Giampietro) since the early age of 4. He is an excellent competitor with numerous Gold Medals in US National Championships as well as several International Gold medals won while residing in Okinawa Japan. His most recent was winning the Korean International Taekwondo Championships 2001 in Tague Korea. He is a certified Instructor and Referee and an active competitor in USTU, AAU and USNTF competitions. Michael was named NSMA Instructor of the Year 2008/2011. His dedication to athlete/student development and his structure of NSMA’s MMA program has displayed selfless devotion and utmost professionalism. He also set the course for Gumdo (Korean Sword) athletes by being rated #1 in Gumdo Forms and Sparring at this years International Gumdo Competition.

  Master Michelle Johnson

  Michelle started as a white belt with NSMA in January 1995 where she trained under Grandmaster Giampietro in Okinawa Japan. Ms. Michelle Johnson has been the Chief Instructor at NSMA South Dakota where she taught with her husband Dave, a 3rd Dan. She was named NSMA Instructor of the year for 2002 and was presented a beautiful crystal award at the NSMA Holiday Party that year. Ms. Michelle was promoted to 5th Dan Black Belt in June 2006. Currently, Ms. Michelle is a Certified Master Instructor and teaches at the NSMA Headquarters School in San Antonio, Texas. She is a very motivated demonstrator and instructor of Taekwondo who loves to teach children and prepare them for competition.

  Master Rhonda Fay

  Rhonda began Tae Kwon Do in Okinawa, Japan. She believes it is a great form of exercise. She has three children, two of which currently hold black belts. Rhonda has a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education.
