More than 32 years in the Pest Industry. Licensed by the Structural Pest Control Board of Texas Just a little history of how we got started in the pest control business. I started working for another pest control company, and eventually went on my own, and with a strong desire to spend more time with family is how Encino Pest Control was born in 1991, in Pleasanton, Tx., where we resided for almost 20 years, thus therefore the reason we have so many customers in Atascosa County. In 2006 the family moved to San Antonio, but of course keeping the more than 400 plus customers in Atascosa County. Once in San Antonio, business started snow balling. Up to this point, my wife, Angie and I were handling the workload by ourselves. Increased workload and increased age, we decided to bring on our eldest son Manny, on board.. Well, workload increased even more, so we asked our daughter, Sarah, if she wanted to help with the Family business. With her addition, it increased our business tremendously, because she was able to dedicate more time speaking with our regular customers and with our potential customers. Then in December of 2018, our son started getting sick and was not able to work. He did not work all through the year and in July, 2019, he passed away. Well with that big shock in our lives, we shutdown for a while and regrouped eventually. Our other son, Marc approached me and asked me if we were going to continue the business. He kind of woke me up, because I was not thinking of the business at that point. Well Marc came on board to help us in September of 2019, and we moved on.
