Najim Children’s Emergency Department at University Health Women’s & Children’s Hospital in San Antonio is a separate, dedicated pediatric emergency room open 24/7 that provides board-certified pediatric emergency physicians, fast access to pediatric specialists from UT Health San Antonio, individualized treatment plans in private rooms, convenient patient drop-off and visitor parking, and direct access to the region’s Level I pediatric trauma center when higher-level trauma care is needed.
