Since 1869, CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Health System has grown and flourished just as South Texas has grown. The organization stands alone as the only Catholic faith-based, non-profit health care system in San Antonio and New Braunfels. This healing ministry now includes five full-service hospitals with 1,159 licensed beds, and a number of specialty centers. Santa Rosa Health System-San Antonio has been recognized as one of the best places in the country to receive treatment for Heart Failure in 2018-2019 by U.S. News & World Report. In addition, throughout the last 18 months, the hospital has seen a substantial amount of growth.
